Cue-Sheet Syntax File
I received an email from Jan-Willem van den Broek in December 2007.

Heya,
First of all: thanks for putting up such a great description of the cue sheet syntax! Really comes in useful when writing a parser for the things.
I did notice something strange though. The rules for the “FILE” command state “FILE commands must appear before any other command except CATALOG.” This rule contradicts the examples on your site (and the output of programs such as Exact Audio Copy), as PERFORMER, TITLE, SONGWRITER, and REM command also commonly appear before FILE. And, though I’ve never encountered it, I guess CDTEXTFILE could also appear before FILE.
Anyways, it’s not a big deal, but I thought I would let you know.
Cheers!

And he his absolutely correct. Since all cue sheet information is a straight 1:1 copy from the cdrwin helpfile, I’m not correcting it.
