MyPaint

MyPaint is a fast and easy open-source graphics application for digital painters. It lets you focus on the art instead of the program. You work on your canvas with minimum distractions, bringing up the interface only when you need it.

ZBar

ZBar is a utility for those who use multiple monitors. If you have a single screen, then there’s nothing to see here. Move on.

If you have two or more monitors, then Windows only puts the task bar at the bottom of one of those monitors, and although you can move windows to the second monitor, the task bar button for those windows still lives at the bottom of the primary monitor. This doesn’t “feel” right to me, so ZBar was born.

Unzbin

Unzbin is a tiny, full automated Usenet nzb client.

PAR Buddy

PAR Buddy is a free Parchive (PAR) and RAR client which makes it possible to easily queue and schedule PAR2 check/repair jobs and RAR unpacking.

PAR Buddy is especially useful when associated with PAR2 in
Windows since this makes it fast and easy to queue and prioritize jobs. Another useful feature is the ability to schedule heavy PAR/RAR jobs to times where the PC is idle.

Ommwriter

OmmWriter is a simple text processor that firmly believes in making writing a pleasure once again, vindicating the close relationship between writer and paper. The more intimate the relation, the smoother the flow of inspiration.

If you are a scriptwriter, blogger, journalist, copywriter, poet or just someone who enjoys writing, welcome back to concentrating.

Monochrome

From the creator of foobar2000:

Monochrome is an IRC client intended for long-time IRC users.
Its primary goals are security, reliability and stability despite of IRC network failures or connectivity problems.

If you have not used IRC before, you should probably look for another client; Monochrome is currently lacking documentation and assumes the user to have basic knowledge of common IRC commands and conventions.

Network Activity Indicator

Network Activity Indicator displays the old ‘two monitors’ icon in Windows 7 that flashed blue to show network activity on the System Tray.

Unlike the original Windows XP utility (that has individual indicators for each interface), this program indicates outgoing and incoming network packets on all available interfaces.
